Carbon copies are overrated.

 We live in a world filled with hate, cruelty, disrespect, and an unwillingness to accept that which makes us human. There are endless people who spend their every waking moment on making others feel less than. Every chance they have, they take to insult, bully, ridicule, blame, chastise, harm, hurt, abuse . . . It does not take much to be kind. No one gets hurt through showing and sharing kindness. Now, I'm not talking about being taken advantage of. There is, of course, a massive difference between kindness and expectations. There is a distinct difference between kindness and a lack of respect. Everyone deserves to be respected and treated well, and that includes having your boundaries upheld. I am not about to claim life is easy by any means; rather, I am advocating for a world in which we don't add to the pain. Kindness costs us nothing

We live in a world full of opportunities overflowing with natural beauty, endless experiences, and love. We live in a world with constant connections, rising bonds, and a desire for more. We live in a world where we can be anything we want: So why not be kind? I know. Rose-coloured glasses, right? I'm not pretending everything is cheerful, and I'm all too aware of the many issues and problems facing people all over the globe. That's the thing, though. With the numerous real issues that exist, why do we insist on creating fictitious ones that bare no weight on anyone? Why do we insist on fixating on the smallest of situations and choices of no impact on anyone? Clothes, hair colour, religion, career, sexuality, gender, tattoos, piercings, appearance. Take your pick. There's always something someone feels the need to nitpick or complain about. There's always an endless number of people quick to hurl insults, personal attacks, and lies.
